update from Greg

Surgery went well yesterday per Doctor Mary. a great doctor[although a vegan, you'd think a smart doctor would know God gave us some pointy teeth for a reason.].a couple hours to remove a malignant spot and surrounding area and the removal of a few lymph nodes..the lymph nodes were tested on site and showed no evidence of cancer cells which was great news..early next week should give us the results of the malignant spot to assure that it was entirely removed. Probably radiation is the next step and hopefully no chemotherapy. June is home now and recovering with her mom trying to get her to follow doctors instruction because I know she won't listed to me or Ally. We'll be watching the DUCKS BEAT THE beavers at home tonight. Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes, candle lighting, etc..it must have worked ! We really don't have any immediate needs..unless you want to feed us..Thanks again

I'm so glad to hear it went well. I will pray for continued good news and that chemo will not be needed. Please tell June to FOLLOW her doctors orders! :)

Excellent news!!!! What would you like for Sunday dinner?? Comfort food is my specialty...and something you can use your "pointy teeth" on..;-) Fried chicken/mashed taters??

Let me know and it's yours.

Thanks for the update Greg! God has blessed June, once again, and for that fact, your family.
June, you obey your orders and rest and heal! That is your job for now!
Take care.
Love you,
Kathy White

YES! Nasties out, healing in. Greg, you and Ally are the best irreverent family supporters. Of course food is willingly given. I make an excellent double chocolate cake with fresh raspberries and cream or as it's cold outside how about beef stew or chicken combined with fresh artichokes, capers, olives, potatoes in home made chicken stock with freshly made bread on the side. June, I'm a p-in-t-arse, I told you your smell was not that serious, easy for me to say, I wasn't having the operation, anxiety and pain, I love you, Jenny, D.

Great update! We have been thinking of you alot June! The worst is behind you and you are on your way to recovery! Great blog Greg except the part about the Ducks beating the Beavers? You are influenced by the Hansens way too much! We'll talk about that another time.
Love, Debbie and Tom
